    AIR is seeking a Summer Market & Competitive Intelligence (M&CI) analyst Intern to join our team in our Washington, D.C. corporate office.


    • Perform market research, competitive intelligence, and market analysis to support the identification and pursuit of current and new business, as well as long-term strategic planning.
    • Identify existing federal, state and local, and/or foundation requirements, funding, contacts, procurement/purchasing details, oversight reports and/or media releases through in-depth research, primarily web-based.
    • Provide current and future market assessments based on the collection of data about economic pressures, funding levels, and competition.
    • Organize, analyze, and synthesize data and information using Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other electronic content management tools.
    • Synthesize research findings, analyze results, and provide written, online and oral briefings.


    • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master's degree, preferably in analytics, business, communication, marketing or other related field.
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must be articulate with effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability and willingness to learn new tools.
