The Assessment Program at AIR is a well-regarded organization that is growing rapidly. We focus on providing our clients with customized assessments that not only measure student achievement against state standards, but also provide meaningful score reports that can help students, parents and educators address areas of student weakness. Our environment is fast-paced and requires people at all level that are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done on time while maintaining high quality. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., AIR is currently seeking multiple positions to assist with Item Attribute Development. This work will be done in our Columbus OH Processing Center.


• Review queued up term definitions and decide which definition best fits the term
• Track and report any errors and discrepancies to the content development and/or ITS teams
• Assist in testing assessment items within ITS on multiple platforms
• Be able to work autonomously and in collaboration with the team
• Be able to work flexible hours and days, as needed
• Perform other duties as required to support AIR and its mission


• Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts is required
• Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent language skills, including writing, editing and proofreading
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must be familiar with the use of personal computer (PC), web browsers (IE, FireFox and Chrome) and Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc)
