AIR's vision is that research-based problem solving can improve the lives of all people. We are seeking a Research Assistant Intern to join our Professional Services team. This position is based in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and executing a national education conference among federal project directors and dept of education clients
• Contribute to planning and execution of virtual events for national special education audiences
• Assist staff in the review, identification and development of scholarly information describing research findings
• Conduct literature reviews to support projects and proposals

Qualifications

• Currently seeking a Bachelor’s degree in such fields as education, psychology, sociology, statistics, computer science, public policy, public health, economics, or other social science related fields
• Strong oral and writing communication skills
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Attention to detail
