    not wishful thinking. It is the goal that drives us. We are currently seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our
    Facilities team in Reston, VA.


    o Answer Calls
    o Direct guests
    o Assist tv/Conference Room Requests
    Maintain the Reston office to a Class A standard
    o Regular walk-throughs
    o Create tickets for issues
    o At the direction of the Facilities Manager work with PM and other vendors to resolve issues
    o Consult with FM and/or PM regarding resolution of tickets
    a CAfM (FootprintsfFM Interact)
    o Capture all customer requests
    o Manage tickets within assigned SLA dates
    Shipping & Receiving
    o Deliver Mail/Packages
    o Meter and log all outgoing mail
    a Conference Room/Guest Office Requests
    o Complete conference room setups
    o Maintain/Clean/Stock guest offices
    a Invoicing
    o Ensures all Purchase Ofders are properly funded
    o Confirm goods/services delivered as billed
    a Space Planning
    o Work w/FM and Site Manager to assign space to new hires (temps, contractors, employees)
    o Plan and coordinate internal moves at the direction of the Facilities Manager
    o Work with FM to ensure that Floor Plans are kept current
    a Kitchens/Workroom/Printer Areas
    o Maintain & Stock Kitchen/Workroom/Printer Areas
    o Regular cleaning of refrigerators, microwaves and coffee machine
    o Place orders and service calls as needed
    • Other Duties and/or Projects as Assigned
    o Assist the Facilities Manager andlor with other projects as assigned


    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; 2 year degree or higher preferred.
    • Facilities Management/Maintenance Experience preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Keen Attention to Detail
    • Highly Developed Customer Service Skills
    • Developed Critical Thinking Skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
