The Assessment Program at AIR is a well regarded organization that is growing rapidly. We focus on providing our clients with customized assessments that not only measure student achievement against state standards, but also provide meaningful score reports that can help students, parents, and educators address any areas of student weakness. Our environment is fast-paced and we seek individuals who are willing to roll up their sleeves to produce high quality work in a timely manner. We are currently seeking Project Coordinators for our Washington, DC office.
The Project Coordinator will support large computer-based statewide testing programs. Responsibilities may include: - Maintain and distribute agendas, official meeting minutes, issues logs/tracking documents, and other project management artifacts - Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, cross-program initiatives, and training sessions - Assist with proposal development activities - Liaise with the Help Desk to coordinate responses to state education and school officials - Provide information to client and respond to client requests within area of responsibility - Produce training materials such as Power Point presentations and recorded modules; provide training on the online testing system’s functionality and features to internal and external staff as appropriate - Bill and collect payment directly from districts; process invoices
• Bachelor’s degree required; additional education preferred • 2-4 years of relevant work experience • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Experience working in the educational community preferred • Ability to work independently on detailed assignments • Experience with MS Office applications *LI-DG1
