The Assessment Production Department’s responsibilities include the creation of test item illustrations and graphics, test forms, and ancillary documents related to the test content for various paper and online State tests. We are currently seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Washington, DC.
The Production Associate will support the production team to create and modify a variety of simple and more complex graphics and line art illustrations for both online and paper tests. This individual will also support the team with desktop publishing work for paper and pencil tests, ancillary documents, and proposal efforts.
• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field. • Working knowledge and 3+ years of experience in a professional setting using QuarkXPress and Adobe Illustrator. • Experience creating scientific technical illustrations or mathematical graphics is a plus. • Additional software knowledge should include: Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign. • Comfortable working on both PC and MAC platforms. • Should have experience and a clear understanding of file preparation for print production. • Reliable, organized, highly motivated with great communication skills. • Detail oriented, excellent time management skills, analytical thinker/problem solver, a quick learner, and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
