This Research Assistant will support special education projects, ED TA Centers and other organizational work across AIR in both research and technical assistance. The ideal candidate will interact with colleagues across project teams and will provide support for project partners and clients outside the organization. This position is located in our Austin, TX or Washington, DC office.
Tasks to be performed will include: • Logistic and analytic support for in-person and virtual events • Qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and summary • Support for project evaluation tasks • Website coding, maintenance and upgrade tasks • Support in writing and editing of project deliverables • Support for communication with project clients and stakeholders
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in fields such as education, sociology, psychology, statistics, or other related fields • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills are highly desired • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Interest in education or general social science topics, digital communications, survey research, and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
