Responsibilities

  • Assists in supporting the financial set-up and close-out of projects.
  • Assists in reviewing monthly financial reports and project financial records for inconsistencies and ensuring all expenses are properly charged. Initiates transfer for mischarged costs.
  • Assists in entering information into the financial tracking system by working with Project Managers and Finance Analysts to ensure that labor and non-labor budgets, actual costs, and forecasts are accurate.
  • Assists in entering information into AIR’s budgeting & forecasting tool and staffing database, at all times ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the same for those projects supported.
  • Assists in development and maintenance of efficient financial filing and tracking systems for assigned projects.
  • Performs general office task including photocopying, faxing, phone calls, email, and FedEx.
  • Other administrative and basic financial duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fine attention to detail, the ability to deal with confidential information, experience with large, complicated budgets, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Flexibility and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, written and analytical skills.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
