We are currently seeking an International Contracts Associate.



  • Provide compliance and strategic advice to internal customers regarding proposal efforts and contract negotiations and administration.
  • Administer standard and non-standard government and commercial contracts with assistance from senior staff.
  • Provide proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Examine contract administration outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions including work scope, duration, price, warranty and confidentiality provisions, based on applicable government procurement regulations and commercial contracting guidelines.
  • Interface with internal technical staff and external clients during the initial award negotiation process as well as the contract modification process.


  • Ensure transactions and documentation complies with AIR policies and procedures, contract requirements, and Government regulations.
  • Coordinate, develop and produce a wide range of complex contractual documentation.
  • Experience with all contract types, including cost plus, fixed price, T&M.
  • Working knowledge of Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) and Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) terms and plans.
  • Experience with reviewing terms, conditions, and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), USAID Acquisition Regulations (AIDAR) and other government acquisition regulations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.


  • Bachelor’s in business, accounting, finance or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with all types of contracts, OCI and PCI, terms and conditions review, FAR, and other government acquisition regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communications are needed.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate should be able to work well in teams as well as independently.
  • Collaborative, flexible and able to balance the need for structure with the efficiency and effectiveness of action-oriented, non-bureaucratic and non-hierarchical approaches.


Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
