The American Institutes for Research in the Behavioral Sciences (“AIR”) is providing this privacy notice to comply with the new requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which became effective on May 25, 2018. This notice describes how AIR collects and processes personal information about you through AIR’s business systems and network in the course of your application for employment with AIR. This privacy notice applies to all personal information we collect or process about you. Personal information is information, or a combination of pieces of information, that could reasonably allow you to be identified.
AIR Privacy Notice
We collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, including from you directly (e.g. when you contact us or complete an employment application) and information we generate concerning you in the course of the application process. We also collect information from sources outside of AIR in the course of a background check, for example. If your application for employment with AIR does not result in an offer of employment or you voluntarily withdraw from the application process, your application and personal information associated with the application is deleted from AIR’s database.
