Join AIR as a part-time Indigenous Education Intern with AIR’s Education Systems team and be involved in our longstanding legacy of providing rigorous, impartial evidence-based research and resources on pressing and perennial education issues.
The intern will support a high-stakes research and policy-focused Indigenous student identification project within the United States. The project requires working with state education agencies in 22 states as well as with national Indigenous education experts and stakeholders to identify needs, priorities, and policy recommendations around Indigenous student identification and success in K-12 public schools. Ideally, the intern will use the knowledge and network they gain through this work for a future career in making positive change in Indian country. This position offers $25-30 per hour. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the organization and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the salary for candidates that are based in the United States.
