Overview

Join AIR as a Project Associate with AIR’s Knowledge Management Initiative (KMI) team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth execution of various projects and operational activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks to support our project leads and team members effectively.

 

Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations.This does not include U.S. territories.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the position include:

  • Project support and coordination for our team, handling a variety of tasks to ensure smooth project execution and efficiency.
  • Manage information in Airtable and similar project management tools, including managing data and information interfaces.
  • Perform basic research tasks such as summarizing and extracting information from documents and meetings.
  • Support data collection activities using tools such as Fillout, Airtable, Jotform, and Qualtrics
  • Act as a central point of contact for various team members, ensuring that all team members have the resources and support they need.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and milestones.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or Master’s degree.
  • Experience working on research projects strongly preferred

Skills:

  • Strong operational and project management skills.
  • Ability to translate project needs into operational actions and provide consistent support across multiple projects.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Airtable or similar tools strongly preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in survey or form tools such as Jotform, Fillout, or Qualtrics preferred but not required.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

AIR’s Total Rewards Program, is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $69,000-80,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
